In short, this collection is a hand-painted mosaic of life's depth, transitions, and emotions… The intricate layers of life.
Each piece is really 234 unique paintings. Much like a year of ones life, each square is a realm- individually deep, rich, and layered- and when viewed as a whole, create a universe of color.
While some lucky ones live to nearly 100 years, I didn’t want to stop there. I wanted this visual experience to also include the beauty and richness that is added to our lives through our close relationships: parents, children, siblings, extended family, and friends. When we intertwine our lives together, as a village, our experiences interlace like threads in a quilt, forming something truly invaluable.
I hope you can see your own rich life in my paintings, and know that you are truly never alone.
